So a few days ago decided to start a new party after some discussion about builds here on the forums. Initially I'd planned to Boost-In but after several false starts where the starting gear just didn't come up way I wanted decided to start fresh and play through.
Note for Cory Trese fallen I know the assorted loot on Boost-In is random and that you'll have a chance to buy some stuff before continuing but is there any way to at least ensure all basic weapons and armor are at least there for the selected heroes? Out of 6 attempts I got 1 throwing knife which meant most times I'd have to buy them for Tamilin and these are her primary slot weapon. Out of those same 6 tries only got a bow twice though at least you do get the Icewood Bow so she'll have something. Almost never see any 1AP light blades either, not sure if it's just that the loot tables are so big that chances of getting what you want/need are very small or what. Did see some great gear I'd never found in drops before though so now I'll be looking for it.
Anyways on to the "Deathwalkers" who have just finished the Great Shaman and made initial entry into Torrent Watershed. So far they've been tearing through stuff with no problem. This is my first time playing Fyona and first time using Tamilin since Selen became available so...bit of adjustment needed. Unfortunately managed to get Kincaid killed twice early in the Ratkin warrens, both times due to my own stupidity and totally avoidable. (don't play when exhausted, remember to recast Sure Parry after getting hit, don't hang out in range of all the bow rats and Shamans and a couple ROUS but find some cover and get to it)
So entire party hit level 13 in Great Shaman battle and Tamilin is now just shy of level 14 with the rest about 1000XP behind her.

Captain Lukai's Blade 1AP 4Acc, 3Parry, 13-25Dmg, +20Max HP, +5%SP Drain
Bladesman Knives 1AP, 3Acc, 11-19Dmg at 3Range
Kallasian Overcoat 16Armor, +2Dmg, +4%SP Drain
Footfall Cloak +4Armor, +2Unholy Resist, +2%SP Drain
Zenith Charm +10Max SP, +4%SP Drain
Boots of the Hare +1Ranged Accuracy, +4Dmg
Planning to get Crippling Strikes to 6 then start working on Cunning Footwork. One of the biggest changes for me playing this group has been lack of -AP cursing that I got previously from the Kyera/Selen combo. Tamilin has been doing what she could but getting Kincaid to help out with his own AoE -AP cursing attack should be a real boost.

Boots of the Hare +1Ranged Accuracy, +4Dmg
Will split between Choking Ash and Burning Blades until CA10 then likely split with BB and Firestorm. His primary job is to get CA on all enemies and boost entire party with BB, his personal offense only comes after he's cursed any enemies in range.

Lost Amulet +6Holy Dmg
Bracers of Earth +1melee Accuracy, +4Dmg
Firebrand Ring +6Fire Dmg, +16Fire Resist
As I said before this is my first time with Fyona. Primarily using her as an off tank and healer. Struggle at times getting her up front to attack but when she does the damage is pretty impressive. Wish Holy Strickening had more range but still is very nice and really helps party chew through enemies like a buzz saw through balsa wood. Will likely start giving a few more levels to Shield of Cortias but at some point will be looking to take HS to 10. At 18th level she'll start adding Reckoning to give party another source of AoE -AP cursing but likely will keep that fairly low initially. Would also like to add Rightous Ferver at some point but will have to see how things go. Definitely need to get her some +MP gear, even if it cuts down a little on her damage output.

Ring of the Hunter +8Dmg, 2%Critical
She's much much better than I remember thanks to all the updates to her Talents since game first came out.
Torrent of Steel is arguably too good and has totally transformed her. While I'm enjoying using her and she's an integral part of my plans for this party I still prefer Selen overall. Will near term likely split trains between Silent Stalker and Blacknight, though eventually do want to get ToS up to 8.
The idea for Deathwalkers is to get maximum Armor, Resistance and AP cursing, so party can take down even toughest enemies very quickly. Already seeing the strategy paying off as ROUS and Deathkin get stripped of nearly all Armor and resistance while having their Dodge severely cursed making them 1 turn kills for party. In Great Shaman fight the Deathkin didn't get a chance to make even a single attack as it came into range of party. Biggest weakness of party is against ranged attackers where they either have to rush them hoping to withstand the fire or pull back out of range and force them to come into range. Selen with Pinning Shot 5 has the early advantage against ranged with it's AoE and -AP. Tamilin at this point is likely to only be able to take out one or two long range enemies and unless I spread her very thin by adding Ranged Onslaught at some point that's not likely to change.
Medium Range ToS is King no question, with up to 7 attacks and AoE -AP plus dodge and resistance cursing it just enables her and the rest of party to decimate.
Additionally the low SP cost for ToS lets her stay out of the potions longer than Selen with PS5.
It's odd but feels like Tamilin the Archer is now better in close early on while Selen the Knife is better with her Bow early game. Likely just my builds and play style.
As always thoughts and comments on my team welcomed.
