No, it was directed at myself and others, not you. I modded two games to test high level talents quickly for all 8 characters. Checked out other low hanging fruit while in there. I told Cory about it so he could plug those holes... It just happened others lost their games for HoS lately, possibly by cheating. I would definitely warn against using hack tools. We've had reports just this week of saved games lost while hacking. It's worse than that, especially on pc it can hang the system or cause other systemic problems - even data loss outside game... I don't recommend it either generally, I just got impatient for those #2-3 boost-in spots to play test. Sorry about the normal diff Steam leaderboard numbers tho, but I'm still not #1 anyhow...

Some of the stuff you pointed out didn't make sense to me, I did understand what you were saying about Attribute and Skill overflows and I'll be chatting with Mr. fallen about finding a fix for that one.

I'll keep working on being clearer in my communications. Sometimes I have the same problem on my end... Thanks for letting me know.

The bottom line here is that if you find yourself in the situation where another process can read from and write to the memory your process, then you have lost the battle.
Encrypting memory is a game you'll never win, because you've got to decrypt it ... and your key is in memory ... and your crypto is in memory ... and the decrypted value has to go somewhere ... it just makes timing the modification harder, but process analysis tools will detect the encryption and even help you fingerprint the crypto suite in use.
