I really like this new one ... nothing like a look at the life of a Death Warrant carrying Bounty Hunter.
We spent a lot of time talking about this book, the setting and how it will all blend together with ST2.
I think Mr. Caron did a great job.

One day there will be a book about a space-faring cat, who is out on a blood vendetta against a whole faction.
It's a love-story of sorts. Certainly, the captain loves killing Steel Song. Of course, every good story has a tragic beginning. Numerous relatives were killed off by Steel Song pirates. Evil, scum-sucking Steel Song pirates, who clearly had no respect for the law, the quadrant, or all things decent. Those pirates ran rampant through the galaxy, determined to loot and steal as many ships as they could (for the Steel Song collective). Why? Because deep down, Steel Song were resentful that everyone else had metal ships whilst they, a noble and ancient house relied so heavily on cardboard.
It all started out as selective and harmless targeting of Steel Song pirates, but after some surprising twists, a full on Cat vs Faction war was triggered. It was the first time in Quadrant history that a Solar War between a faction and a single person had ever been recorded. The fact that the single person was also a cat made the story even more unique.
