Hi Guys,
I'm new to the game, and having trouble with this mission. I understand I'm supposed to route the power ultimately north, but when i get to a grid where I've routed the power to, it says the grid has no power! Is this because the node I've routed the power to is broken? And if so, how would you complete the mission within the turn limit, unless, just by luck of activating the correct nodes the first time through?
Thanks in advance.

One way you can address the difficulty of the mission is to use a second Engineer, who can "run ahead" toward the next node.

Thanks for getting this to the correct thread!
But let me clarify my question.
I had activated a node and sent power down the line to a subsequent node. However, when i got to the next node, (the one i had routed power to), and clicked on it, it said there was no power going to it. The red lights were lit up along tbe path. Although not every light in the path is lit, except for the starting path, from the main capacitor bay to the first node. It didn't blow up, although I'm familiar with nodes exploding from a previous mission.
Thanks again.

Make sure you actually activate each node as you move to them. If the game is telling you that the node has no power, it's likely that you didn't activate the one before it.
SPOILER--
To reach the turn goal, or shatter it, even, try this: --Take the Tact Point, and get your Commander and an Engineer to the defensive squares directly north of the TP. Drop a Sentry turret nearby and turn the power WEST. Hold position here. --Spawn a new Engineer and march your Soldier and the new Engineer due west --Reach that node and turn the power NORTH. Follow the power northward. --As they reach the node, start your Commander and his Engineer northward and hold position at the middle node. Drop that Engineer's second Sentry while you clear the area. You should arrive and hold for only a turn or two if you time it right. --Once you get to the node, turn the power EAST and start following it. --Have the Commander's Engineer turn the Power NORTH, and start clearing the steps northward. --Have the Commander and his Engineer run North and turn the power WEST, then start running West Northwest. If you want, grab the Ordnance in the area with the Attack Squares --Soldier and 2nd Engineer follow the power once they get up the stairs and turn it NORTH --By the time they reach their node, your Captain and his Engineer SHOULD be close to the NNW Node, and as soon as the power is turned NORTH, activate the final Node and restore power to the engines, ending the level.
--So, in order: West North East North West North
WHEW. I made it through in 12 out of 24 turns, and only killed 10 Xeno.

We already have a bug on the roster for two paths that don't operate properly, and we're going to take another look at them. At the same time, we're just working on making that mission random, so that there isn't any known path, which would be way more fun I think. Sorry that this snag caught you and I hope you can complete the mission with En1gma's help!

Yes, thanks for acknowledging this as a potential bug. That is what I thought as soon as I encountered it, but it was across a barrier, so I didnt know if I'd missed something in the mission briefing. Now that I know what I'm dealing with, I'll just try a few different things until i complete the mission. Thanks again!

Could you provide the coordinates of the node that was not working? If the bottom left is (0,0) and the starting node is (1,0) -- which one was it?

Ok, this is somewhat a guesstimate, cause we're talking 2 or 3 tries ago. But i would say: 0,2. Possibly, 1,2. Because the best i can remeber is that i had initially gone west, and i was north, across a barrier. I dont know if they're fences or walls, but you cant walk through them, but you can shoot through them. And the barrier is silver in color, like a silver rail. Hope this helps.

A big thanks to the admin and En1gma. I finally finished the Power Relay Grid in 21 turns plus 2 bonus objectives, which gave me 3 exp bonuses! Vae Victus Templars! Lol.
