The honorable 25th update responds to the community request to be able to change difficulty when entering the New Game+ mode of the game. After you beat the full campaign, when you start to replay, you now have the option to increase or reduce your game's difficulty. For fairness reasons, if you do so, your game score will not be posted to leaderboards anymore. We've also greatly simplified what happens in cut-scenes when you choose to Skip All. What might have taken 30 seconds before as the cut-scene scrolled around and showed objectives, we've decided that you really mean it -- skip it all. Skip all will now go by in a flash. In other areas, we've fixed a number of bugs and crashes! Vae Victus, Templar. Fulfilling those feature requests! Really happy to have finally cracked the nut of adjustable difficulty on replay.
Next up ... more levels!

He is such a tease. Cory Trese what did you think of a deployment trying to secre Artifacts or Relics from a newly discovered Ancient Crash Site, on an infested world about to be purged by Orbital bombardment?

Stop it! Just stop it! You're driving me crazy!!!
How about a deployment to Moklumne Prime. We know it's been overrun, but perhaps we receive a signal indicating there are some holdouts trying to pull out. We need to deploy down to the surface, secure an evac site, and hold it while the soft little meat puppets escape!

Brutus Aurelius & johndramey - both sound like really fun ideas. Returning to Mok Prime to secure lost relics ... that sounds like an amazing mash up of the two! I love the idea of going back to Mok Prime. Next update - the Stratos Orbital station!

The current campaign we're finishing now takes place on an orbital station, sorta a riff on the ST2 KS goal. That said, I'm actually already building the maps (ask fallen, that is the really hard part) for the next next campaign which is made up of open desert maps. PS: making the maps is actually the easy part. I am only saying these things to avenge myself against fallen for making me do builds all day. The hard part of building a new campaign is putting all the "magical inspiration" into the maps. All that stuff fallen does (dialog, stories, character, beautification, etc) is all just sorta like easy stuff that pretty much any old sock puppet could do. But the magical inspiration? that takes like real serious stuff.
