[...] Turrets taking buffs has always made sense to me; you're improving its armor, accuracy, etc. Humans accepting buffs made sense as well. I can see prohibiting Reactor Jolt, as humans don't have Reactors. You could make a case buffs and/or Ordnance don't apply to humans as they don't wear Leviathans, but where do you draw the line? Marielle can heal a Knight, or we can heal/buff human infantry as it stands now, for example. [...] The way I see it, a good number of the buffs are specific to Leviathan armor, reactor jolt being the most obvious one. Assault overflow kits -- I see that also as Leviathan-specific, since how else exactly would a kit improve your accuracy otherwise? Does it come with adrenaline pills or spice or something like that? Null shield / null cloak also seem specific to Leviathans. Probably only Meditech ordnances should apply to everyone.

Funny thing is, I've actually always known about that TP, because it was only in my last run that I discovered there's actually a shorter route to the black pit!!! So I've been doing that level the long way for how many times now!

I see talent buffs as trickier though; say Commanders Confidence for example. What's to say my Lineage hasn't inspired FDF troops countless times? Likely we have. Another example is Battlefield Enhancements on the Paladin; there's one where healing and combat buff combine, tricky. Surely, my Engineers Lineage knows how to tack on extra armor to her Turrets... You see my point. I see yours too, to be fair. If talent buffs are tech specific to Leviathan mech, it makes sense they simply don't apply to anything else. I'm not taking a stand on it, lol, just wanted to weigh in on how in might be feasible/plausible.

Yeah, talent buffs are in a greyer area that's harder to discern. I think at least the description of Commander's Confidence does allow for it to be applied to everyone, though having it also apply to turrets is kinda odd, and amusing. "This here turret was so inspired by the Captain's Lineage that its mechanisms became more well-oiled and its targeting system self-upgraded to be more accurate!" And having Rallying Charge apply to Lev rigs is similarly kinda amusing, though I can see it working for human soldiers.

After thinking about it, I think Corey or Andrew said buffs are a combination of Lineage and tech. I have an imagination, so in my mind I could see my troops giving humans and Turrets alike little implants which equate to/enable the buff.

The one thing out of this we might evaluate is Lev Rigs and +MP buffs.
Thanks for all the feedback!
