PC Version Normal Difficulty Airlock Chambers Map
If a templar accidentally goes through the third airlock and closes the airlock, leaving a templar behind- the left behind templar can re-open the gates... but the gates cannot then be re-shut.
(This refers to the airlock before the final airlock--the final airlock being the one that teleports you out of the map).

Vae Victus - thanks for the post. Can you tell me again the exact sequence that is not woring? at the third gate you... 1) Closed the gate, but left a Templar behind. 2) Open the gate at the other terminal so the Templar could come through 3) Tried to close the gate again, but it would not close a second time?

Correct.
One ran through on the right, closed the gate behind. Then the one stuck behind went back to the left, opened the gate, and went through it. The one on the right could not then re-close the gate.
e.g. a comedy of errors. I wonder how the after action report there would have been written up as-- the two of them talking over comms:
Captain: "(static) close the gate (static) close the gate!" Scout: "closing the gate, as ordered" *Presses button* (static clears up) Captain "Do not close the gate!" *Gate begins closing. "****ing do not close the gate." *Gate closes* Captain bangs on the closed wall, then turns to rush back to the "open" terminal Scout: "Oh crap." In debriefing: "We must endeavor to labor on a better method to transit signals; let us only say the phrase "close the gate" when closure of the gate is desired- to leave it open- say "keep open the gate"
Everyone was through except the captain who was one block away from being crushed in the gate. Thankfully, he was able to run back and re-open the gate without being killed by a fast-spawning horde.

(This refers to the airlock before the final airlock--the final airlock being the one that teleports you out of the map). Fixed for next, you can now repetitively open and close the doors. Each action costs 2 AP.
