I was rewarded with Victor's V-chip but he still wouldn't talk to me because my I wasn't showing him any sort of committment. Fine. I went and worked my way up to loyalty 14,
and he started talking with me, said I would work out fine, and that he would start sending
me jobs. But Connecting to him still gives 'sorry chummer'. Increasing loyalty to 20
makes Victor begin giving you jobs, but only if you phone him while in Blue Ox Territory.
Otherwise it is 'sorry chummer' again.
So the check for how much loyalty you need to be offered jobs needs to be the same whether or not you tap on the connector button or the person's head button, and all of it needs to work outside of Blue Ox territory.

There isn't much sense for his connecting availability,i think,and if it exists its badly explained...;-) ok,maybe(maybe surely XD) i'm a chummer,ok,but for me this thing has no sense...also 'cause(OT phrase) i hate LV,i'd prefer a big crater instead of their territory =) --> and this affermation 'cause in previous versions i spended hours and hours to raise my rep for promised(and fantomatic^^) Vinny jobs and for their den(i know,now it's V warehouse but startly it was their den i remember),never repayed ^^
returning to the thread,vic should be available anywhere,not only Blue ox and LV zones...and overall(it must not be the exact word..sorry) he should stop to say sorry chummer ^^ i'd blast his face for this xD

Interestingly, while Victor was giving me jobs from Los V territory, he just stopped. My rep is 129 and he just gave me the key to a safehouse. But he won't give me jobs from the Laughing Dog or the Super Sonic Inn any more ...

And the 'Victor stopped giving me jobs in LV territory' is a function of my reputation with the Los V gang. When they stopped liking me, Victor stopped, and after I got my rep with them up to 22, he started again.

grävling - agreed. Some bug has been introduced about the rep that a Contact users to decide if he likes you or not. It seems to have become linked to the region in which you are physically, and not his own faction.

Get your rep to 65 and hell start sharing loot. Im a gangs leader right nowtu 70 rep. One tips tho. dont stay at an aztec hotel. I loss 3-5 rep points from blue ox everytime I do. There may be some kinda beef between them. Also you dont have to do jobs just for victor to gain rep with blue ox or to get better jobs from him. I generally get a cab back to blue ox do a few jobs for connectors there then check back with victor periodically to see there is anything new. I just got a nice set of nano ready medis. : D. ALSO you CAN can call from any data terminal.
