When I got to my target location I noticed one of my team had vanished- Im pretty sure he did not die, so dif his contract run out? Does the game not notify you or did I not see it? And most importantly, can I re-hire him somehow? I got him from a random event(rescued him). SoI have no idea where to look.
Thanks

You can go to a VIP Room or Backroom through the NBZ and hit the Team button to rehire. If you get enough XP, you can turn the Runner into a permanent ally.

Thanks Another question: is rep gain/loss explained somewhere? Sometimes when I work against someone I lose rep, sometimes not? What are the factors?

blaa - rumors, conflicts, how violent or important the job is, skill rolls involved with the job (Stealth, Intimidate, Negotiation, etc).

Thanks! Ok one last for the moment: How do I restore rep? I got like -5 with Streets. Thought I could run some jobs to get it back up but seems impossible. Only gained 1 rep for an assassination, but I always run in some patrols or whatever when in their area to get a job, having to kill em and making rep worse. Currently at -13.

Stay off their radar for a week and you'll be fine.

So rep goes up if I leave them alone a while? Cool

So rep goes up if I leave them alone a while? Cool be sure to move between safehouses and hotels. Staying in the same place slows down Heat / Rep changes.

blaa to increase rep from negative, keep your heat down as much as possible while going through their territory, avoid doing missions against them for a while, always try and help out if there was an accident/explosion/bomb to disarm. If you can do a couple of contracts for that faction, you'll also boost your reputation with them. -5 is very very easy to get increased. It's definitely just a matter of laying low, being nice, not killing Streets chummers

Yeah, I ultimately got back on their good side by the +10rep for 1000 creds random encounter. Now I'm good with everybody but the Irish guys. Wish their was a more consistent way to buy rep, like a fixer/broker.

blaa - you will find it very difficult to consistently stay friends with everyone. Cyber Knights work the shadows and make enemies, it's what they do. After you off Knight Horizon's lead scientist and steal the prototype they've spent years building ... you want to be able to buy back the Rep? It just doesn't work in the world

So far I'm actually cool with everyone except Mars, who decided to attack me though I had positive relations with them and slaughtered my 200+ exp Atilla hound. Ugh it hurts. And I only figured out you could buy nano ready armor from the blue ox afterwards. Anyways, back to assassinating Mars...

blaa - make them pay! Remember that as a Cyber Knight, no Faction will ever claim you as their own. Like you or not, you are a CK and that makes you a liability in most cases.
