I know that any further dev always comes if there is demand, nothing is for free.
Firstly, I really wish that this was open to the community for map development, it would definetly add to the expirerience.
So... More maps with fewer planets and 2+ enemies. I like sparse galaxies with at least 2 enemies, they present interesting challenges without the feeling of the grind, which I often feel in large galaxy maps. Obviously horses for courses, so this may only apply to me. There really are not many maps to select from that provide this format.
What I would really like to see is; Random map generation Community developed maps Variable Controls for - number of enemies, number of planets, total quality of planets, total mineral of planets, amount of rocks, amount of ice zones (which should be affected by the select rock), amount of anomilies
I see something like what Civilisation has had.

giddion - thanks for the feedback on this! We'd love to be able to afford a mod engine toolkit at some point, but it is far beyond the budget we have for any game. Hopefully in the future! Random maps are out of the scope of 4X as well, but the ST2 engine is seeing proc gen in the map space, so it is a possible future.

Thanks fallenIs there more info on the game play of ST2? And details around the capabilities etc... Sorry if this is addressed somewhere and I am just performance a man look

giddion - the ST2 KickStarter is public for review, as well as the 30 updates (start with the latest ones!)
