I'm not sure it would fit your planned storyline or if you already have ideas for them but I had an idea for a fun scenario.
So, say your party has Kincaid, what was Vraes doing instead of being in your party?
Would Vraes be working with Orcs and killing villagers?
Or if you have Selen, what would Tam be doing now instead.
Would Tam be stealing powerful artifacts and becoming evil?
It would be fun to encounter the heroes you didn't pick in the underdeep. (you already have the art work).
Perhaps the "other" heroes have been tricked by Rabiel into following him and doing his work? It would be awesome to have a fight against the 4 heroes you don't pick in your team.
Perhaps Vincent instead of being locked up in the red keep got sidetracked at the city of dead and became seduced into becoming a follower of the seer lords.
Kjarten driven mad tapping into the power of the universe.
Fyona or Kyera becomes a religious zealot declaring a jihad on the underdeep.
Kincaid is forced to flee after being caught in bed with a baron's wife. He is forced to join with some rogues and becomes a powerful highway man.

Interesting...Something like this would be very interesting. Imagine having to fight Kincaid with his parrying and dodging? Oh no...
