Upgrades disappearing in Star Dock

Maybe it works only under certain circumstances. Darth Cthoras which house is your starting house? I was an independent captain. And I had both custom stats and custom made ship.
fallen moving to elite was something I have wanted to do for a long time. While the free version is awesome by itself, once you become actually limited by the restrictions (took me months to actually feel the restrictions), it stops being fun. But going to elite has brought back the old pleasure of exploring the quadrant, and with the IAP it even enhanced it!

I just confirmed this occurs for both Thulun, De Valcos, and Independent with non-custom ship and stats, as well as Indeps with custom ship or stats. Haven't tested other configurations as yet.

Thanks for the feedback. The thing that really matters is what device and Android OS you have that is triggering the bug.

When you're encountering this bug on your device, are you using the hardware back button?

Yes. Hardware back button. But I confirmed that the in game back button does the same.
Also, when the number reaches 0 or less, I stop being able to access upgrade craft location.

The rule that Star Dock Upgrades are consumed by viewing them was added Friday, February 04, 2011 1:40:42 AM

It looks like what you're describing has been how Star Traders RPG has worked for a long time.

Maybe they become more in demand shortly after you view them and get quickly snapped up by other captains looking for a deal.

The funniest thing is that when I click on Purchase, but click on No in the confirmation window, I can't click on the Purchase again (because it became grey). I have to get out of the "View this upgrade" screen and then back again...
The most extreme case occurs when I have for example a non-permanent propulsion upgrade and I want to replace it.
When I do such a thing in this case, after leaving the screen whole Propulsion section disappears from Available upgrades, because the game subconsciously thinks that I bought that upgrade.

Hopefully I can find some universally compatible (all Androids, all OS) updates that will help. I'm not sure yet it is possible to improve here, but I will certainly keep trying.

The upgrades system has worked this way for years, but there is always more we can do.

Haha, today I encountered an even upgraded version of upgrades disappearing in the star dock

I arrived on an Indy planet and after landing the captain noted that there has been a surge in starcraft development and many upgrades are for sale (in a nutshell, every upgrade is available in star dock).
Well, not bad, I thought to myself... But I was so surprised when I saw that only 27 upgrades were available!

So I entered the upgrades... And was really surprised... There were indeed only 27 upgrades available, but none were unavailable! The "show all" option had been ticked while I was looking through the upgrades... Really, no upgrades were unavailable. Also, my ship had no upgrades at all during the look.

Possible reasons why it happened:
I have turned off developer options
The status of my device, it has been crashing a lot lately
Kickstarter code (I doubt this one)

The most probably it is because by using the bug described above, I got from 18 available upgrades to 0 in this planet with another captain when I was experimenting with that bug.

OK, this isn't a bug... Partially. There are only 27 upgrades on indy planets when that rumor happens.
But the fact that the game still takes them as every upgrade in the game (the button View all does not show the absent upgrades in this case) is a bug according to me
