That's the problem, there aren't any options other than installed, archived, clear cache, backup and select all (what apps you want to back up). I backed my Heroes of Steel game up but don't know what to do next. I'm not savvy enough to start pressing buttons, as you're probably already aware, so I'll wait until I get some sort of prognosis. Thanks for your time.

Did it mention, where it saved it to?

It's saved on the device via the app.

I sent another crew into the monastery and everything went off without a hitch. As was previously mentioned it seems to be something preventing that particular game from completely loading up.

Yeah, its definitely a one-off issue, which makes it all the more difficulty to troubleshoot without the saved game. Our numbers show a lot of people are going through that fight every day without any issues. Did it say where it saved the files too when it saved them? Are they in areas accessible to a standard file explorer app, like ES File Explorer or AndroXplorer? If you plug your Kindle into a computer with a USB chord, can you browse to the backup and pull them off manually?

It's saved on the device via the app. And… they called it a "backup" ? O.o

It seems that there may be no way to get the file off a non-rooted Kindle Fire. We are still trying to find a path, but the permissions lock it up pretty good. I am glad to hear that another group got through. Hopefully the next release of Heroes might knock that group free. Sometimes updates will fix the bugs on certain devices that are completely impossible to explainable. It is often related to an APK getting badly installed by the Android OS, and the next update install fixes it.
