Basically, I would like an option for contracts to be all sumed up in a list and then you can check and see which one to choose. I'm talking about a list like the "Review ship plans" except for contracts.

Contracts can now be requested from three places -- the Hall, the Price and the Military Base. They have different mixes and percentages for the different types. When Awards is introduced there are a bunch of awards for completing 100% of offered and accepted contracts. Those awards open up a set of officers and upgrades that make contracts easier to control. ---- I like the suggestion I've just spent a lot of time already going in a different direction. I will wait to hear from the crew at large what they think here, but at this time I'm not totally ready to give up on my original ideas and existing code. I can be convinced tho

It would be neat if the contract giver could evaluate your captain's stats and the condition of your ship and modify the mission based on that. So an explorer-oriented captain with a damaged ship could be told by a military contractor "Come back when your ship isn't a scrapheap and you know more about fighting."
Your reputation could be a factor also. Taking a mission for a faction that has a negative opinion of you could be a riskier one than if they liked you even slightly. "Oh, its that hoodlum that sacked our merchants just 2 weeks ago. Let's send him off chasing one of our top wanted criminals and see if he survives."
