To clarify, I've also tried restarting the game, rebooting the iPad, went through all the conversations one by one and Skip All with no luck. I have the full game, first glitch I've come across since I bought it 6 months ago. Hope this helps! I wonder if you have any games near other monster types, like humans, and if they would show up. Nothing has changed in the alien monster animation or art files since Dec 2015. This will be quite the puzzle to figure out.

Thanks for the quick reply! Yes I have the premium app but I don't think the issue was caused by the 2.3.1 update... I played several missions just fine after updating the game with the invisibility issue only coming up two days ago. The only thing I did in the meantime was update some other apps, maybe a compatibility problem with those?

The human militia does show up and is visible/controllable after I take that first tact point (for the west cannon) and the red beam fires at the dropship, it's only the aliens that are invisible.

The v2.3.1 update went live Wednesday night, so that sounds like the timing lines up perfectly, honestly.

On my iphone 6s, I was doing Stratos: Central Airlock on easy enemy are visible ( and I am killing with great glee) updated to v2.3.1 and enemy became invisible. The way I found out, they died one of the solider and when I moved the scout, if had to do a U around them. If you click on the square, the enemy information is display.
Option - High speed enemy turn Game Center is disabled IOS 9.3.2
It is like the gif, for the enemy was deleted.

I downloaded this game today on my iPad Air 3 (the full version of game). All monsters are invisible for me as well. I beat the first level (deck) hoping it would fix when it loaded new level and same issue continued. I then tried powering iPad off and in which did not help. I then deleted the app and reinstalled it, still no help. As others have said all I see is a - number in red as if I'm hit and then I possibly counter attack but never see an enemy. I can attack the enemies if I click an ability and click each space to guess where they are, once I click a space a invisible monster is on it attacks it. When the enemy dies you see dead alien guts on the ground. That's all the info I can think of.

By the way I also tried changing the one option available which is game speed and that did not make a difference either

Haven't had a chance to try 2.3.3 yet, but I assume that's the cause/fix for this issue? No, the cause was a change in XCode 7.3.1 that introduces some type of rendering bug into iOS applications. We had to rebuild and resubmit the game with XCode 7.1.1 instead, which doesn't have the issue and we know is stable. The defog bug was a totally separate and unrelated issue.
