Map access and Underforge

Might be a bug or not.

In Ep 2, I generally clear the southern maps first, but only do the quests of the Krete chieftains and Talia village and the entrance to the UF before swinging north.

On my current play through, I delayed the Krete chieftains to do on my way back north, being weary of Krete.

On prior playthroughs, I could always take the boat back to rivenfield. This time I could not due to the Krete. Unfortunately, in starting the UF, I find the western underworld closed to me. I can't enter darkmoss or prospector's path. Only the eastern UW and UF.

I do not relish tackling the UF at a lower level, but so be it for the challenge.

However, it seems inconsistent to have the map blocked but the boat be accessible to rivenfield.

Using version 4.2.35. iPhone SE 9.3.2

Happy to add information on the gameplay through. Anything to streamline people's experiences.

With so many different plot points and ordering of events, it has to be a pain to cover all angles.

This one was odd as I didn't expect to have the land route closed. If it is intentional, than maybe having an explanatory dialog of once we go into the house we have to see it through to the end whatever we find.

Can you be more specific? How are you finding the routes closed?

I go to the edge of the map and nothing transitions. The characters simply go to the edge and can step one square into the black space.

There is no trigger to transition to a new zone. So, I am limited to brunehorn and granthorn areas in this party.

My hope is that clearing the UF may trigger something back to normal.

phaze - sounds more like a bug than anything. Exactly how much of the Underforge have you done? Are you still busy clearing the Cult House?

I am on the 3rd map out of the total. About to head back to town for a level up. The UF is much harder at a lower level and w/o Ep 3 weapons/items.

Maybe a hard restart will help?

If you could share bits of your quest log and the exact sequence of gameplay, I am sure we can help fix the issue. We'll need as many details as you can share!

An odd occurrence. After exiting the UF, resting at the inn, and restarting my phone, it is back to normal. I can head back to darkmoss with no issues.

Thank god. The UF is an utter pain at that point.

phaze - it sounds related to updates, phone restart, etc. I really doubt I will be able to ever reproduce ... Glad it it is fixed now!
