Ranged accuracy is accuracy with bows/throwing daggers, respective talents, and magic talents like fireball?
Phalanx Shield blocks ranged attacks including magic attacks?
It's just that the defense is distinguished between magic defense (with knowledge) and ranged defense (with dexterity), so it's a little confusing how for attack ranged and magic is the same thing.

+ranged accuracy gear affects spells/bow/throwing knives.
Ranged defense works as follows: Dexterity adds 1 standard defense die against bows/throwing knives Knowledge adds 1 standard defense die against spells Character dodge (determined by dexterity ratio changes based on hero) adds one standard defense die against all ranged attacks Bonus dodge (from gear and buffs) adds 1 strong defense die against all ranged attacks
Phalanx shield is different. It provides auto block ranged%, some shields do as well. This counts against all ranged attacks and is rolled as a single 100 sided die, roll less than or equal to your ranged auto block % to block the ranged attack
Phalanx shield is powerful because it doesn't matter how accurate the enemy is you still have x % chance to block the attack.

I may be misunderstanding but saying:
Accuracy (6s 8) Spell (6s) + Sorcery (4) + Knowledge (4) Bonus (0)
Does this mean that my spell is accurate and divided by my precision?

This means that you have 6 strong dice due to the Talent, 4 standard dice due to Sorcery and 4 due to Knowledge.
