Lower Difficulty Awards on Higher difficulties Difficulties

So if you were to do an award on, say, insane difficulty, which gets a reward on a lower difficulty, do you still get a reward? Example, Thousand Suns, you get the water tank on challenging, but if you get the award on Crazy difficulty, do you get the upgrade award?

That is correct, you can earn all the Awards at the stated difficulty or worse.
