Well it is part of the description of the Captain's Log... Whether or not you're Cadar... you'll find something you don't like about them. What is it you don't like? Or, in fact, ANY faction, the title is a joke mostly as the first sentence pointed out. REPHRASE! What are the things you don't like about a faction... Whether it's Cadar, Javat, or Indies, what do you not like about them? (Both canon and forum stuff... such as slayernz's lies about the mighty Steel Song) |

Glory to Steel Song! To make it flashy...  Anyway, I don't like Cadar either. They're elitists. Yes... They're definitely Torp fanatics too. I'm ashamed to admit I was once a Cadar officer. Not long though. Steel Song was the first faction I've ever been. They're my favorite. Rychart is cool too. |

Typical steel song, still using ballistic anti personnel weapons, while the rest are using energy weapons and still torping your cardboard spaceships. |

I suggest you go tell a Neptune Templar that ballistic weapons aren't effective.  Although, for all you know, those Steel Song guns actually could be directed energy weapons, Wolfasaur . |

Let's suppose for a minute SSC ships are actually cardboard...
Hautreq of Steel's defeated over 600 Syndicate ships, on impossible difficulty. Syndicates couldn't touch him. It took a Xytox Xeno over 3x level to kill him. If Steel Song can make cardboard ships do that imagine what they could do with an actual ship.

But steel song ships are unsuitable for boarding, due to being from cardboard. That's why I always ask Cadari ship crafters in Steel song planets... True, I have to pay 20% extra money, because I ask for ships with low amount of torps (and for them to make my ship look like it's from Steel song), but I have a durable boarding ship. If anyone is interested, why I use steel song planets as a boarder, it's because SS have +20 crew bonus in ship designer. |
