Matrix vs regular jobs

Hey guys i'm new here and i want to ask is that what's better for money and rep gain i.e the matrix or jobs form contracters

sparda4 - there are many, many job types -- the best profit and Rep comes from doing jobs that you team gets bonuses for (Hackers get bonuses for Matrix jobs), and always completing the job successfully.

I see so it's class dependent correct ? for gunslinger and snipers the assassination jobs give the most for hackers it's locked file transfer or virus uploading. If i'm understanding right

sparda4 - yes, that is correct. That is shown in the game UI every time you see a job offer. It looks at potential bonuses from your knight, but also from your Runners. Take a Sniper Runner along, and you get the bonus. So, as a team you can net a pretty wide set of bonuses.

Selling the paydata can make you very rich, though, richer than murder even. But it trashes your reputation something terrible, so only do this when you are a pretty proficient killer.

For young knights, the best money is in escort missions. Try SlayerNZ in Old Kenmore for some very lucrative short walks to Copley Square. Hunders and Cyberswords get a pay bonus for these missions, but this just means that it is _even nicer_ for them. It's very lucrative for every profession.

Definitely sell the paydata during info wars, that is when you get the best money. You need to have a lot of it to really make bank.

Jobs is the most direct way to burn of bad Reputation, but it is often pretty dangerous, as it causes you to go into their territory alot.
