When I am building a captain, I have the options "Trade attributes for Electronics (2 for 4)" and "Trade attributes for weapons (2 for 4)". If I tick only one of them, everything is normal, I lose 2 attributes and gain 4 weapons or electronics, whichever I have chosen.
But if I tick both of them, I get 4 electronics and 4 weapons, but only at the cost of 2 attributes when it should cost 4 attributes in total. In other words I pay only for electronics and get the weapons as a bonus.
