Has anyone gotten this? I can get trade permits with everyone and get them to like me, but it decays too fast for me to wait out the trade embargoes to boost their reputation for the achievement.

I think many people have gotten this. If you have troubles with trade embargoes, simply use spy and solar wars  As for me, I don't really get hit that badly with trade embargoes, since I stack only water-fuel, even on impossible difficulties  (except for when I am a boarder, but still, the weapons come after my character gets developed properly, and except for when I have nothing better to do than trading Electronics or other restricted cargo). |

I've never had a problem getting this one. Any time after 64.6 AE is when you can claim it so there's really no limit on the time. In a lot of cases you can get the 10 rep needed just by doing a few contracts.

Surveillance during spy war brings insane reputation boosts, same with blockade during solar war (you have to shift the targets here though). It's really easy to get from -1000 to +1000 reputation with convenient spy and solar wars. And it's why everyone always likes me. |

Trick is to play both sides. I'll spy on one making big rep gains with the other, then I sell all the records back to the one I spied on. 9 times out of 10, you can get big +rep boost with both sides that way.

Surveillance also causes neg rep with the faction you're spying on though? It does. But that gets fixed if you sell the records to it then you get a reputation decrease for the second faction, but overall you will be on profit, in terms of both reputation and money. |
