So is alien hunting easier or harder now? easier IMO, but I dunno maybe someone else can find a way to paint "less Xeno Crews" as "harder Xeno hunting" but thus far, the logic escapes me. I wait to be surprised.

They are easier to hunt because Cory loaded them using stolen Steel Song ships and torps, which are essentially garbage cams and nerf darts.

I just wondered, because I hoped that less crew would create a paradox, because the stats of the alien captains aren't enough to cover the alien crews.

Interesting theory, poryg. Hmm... I think it would just reduce the number of "unsupervised" xeno crew, but not make the remaining any stronger.

I had just remembered my boarding beginnings, I had lots of crew, enemy cap level 23, but always great casualties, because I had huge crew and low stats (at that time I still hadn't had any idea about optimal builds). The compact enemy ships made it hard for me despite being 66% of my level. So I thought that maybe it would be interesting to ask. Although truth is, the 1000 crew ships were the only ships which I just couldn't beat in 2 boarding turns, on the other hand 500 crew ships were no challenge for my Alien hunters... At least before the meta change.

Yeah, just looking at the saved games I'm getting via e-mail and running the simulator for a about a million turns a week.
That way I can base the patches on facts and realities of how the game is performing in the v6 era.
