A lot of the old contacts in your PDA have been dusted off. Probably worth taking a spin back through.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S, with the same firmware as you do, and I have never seen this problem. With the amount of backbuttoning I do, I think I would have.

Yknow, I had the same problem. Finally I just deleted the character when I got elite and it never happened again.
I think it maybe had something to do with the updates.
It started happening when the map changed.
Dunno.
Much as it sucks, you might just have to start a new character.
Oh, and my glitch was with the male sandbox on a galaxy s 1 (mesmerize) using ck free.

nyktos - hahaha... yes! every starting character has a taxi contact who can help get you around the NBZ quickly, for a fee.

If anyone is still getting this rare bug just walk around, rest at hotels, and change areas for a long time...maybe a week or so game time, the taxi timer will eventually reset and youl be back to normal. Worked for me.

Yup. Walking is faster but you get tired faster it seems, so you kinda get a trade off with the cabbie-walk issue.
