Right now I have Benni and Mcfly as my taxi contacts but they're always 'busy' and I always get the message to try them in a couple hours etc.
Am I missing something? Is there a point in the game where they are no longer available?

Taxis wont be available for a couple hours after you use them for the stated fact that they are on another call. This is to prevent abuse og.the taxi system. You can either stay a hotel to allow 12 hours to pass which is ample time. Or you can walk a few zones over which should have allowed two hours to pass and catch the.taxi from theres Either way 2s hours must pass before you can access. Plan your route so you get maximum use of your taxis. Once you exir the taxi, you have to allow 2s hours to pass before hailing one against.

yeah, I've stayed at hotels and I've walked all over the map but no matter what so far they're always busy. Maybe it's a bug?

So your getting only the busy message?,because if your heat is to high they also won't pick you up.
I think it was said that sometimes they are busy randomly but you must be super unlucky if that's the case because I have never seen that.

@adrian Welcome to the Forums. May your stay be fruitful and grand chummer, your advice:
Heat is the only factor that would make them stay away, but they would also mention your heat as being high.
If you are constantly seeing the exact same busy message, then Cory or Andrew need to know. Adrian, what make & model device are you using, and if possible too; the settings you are playing on and with. if they are here, they are also easier to compile. :-) thanks

The other posters pointed out some of the reasons why a Taxi won't pick you up. Did they help? |

Hey,
Thanks guys, I already knew about the 2hr and heat thing. My issue has nothing to do with that though...
I think I got it figured out.
I am playing the elite version of the game, and it only happens when I am playing as the female character....
So it starts when I hit my android back button which brings up the option to quit the game, then it leads me to the main menu where I press quit again but instead it brings me BACK into the game. Ha ha. Except my character is magically placed somewhere else, usually in the Fenns area, then the games gets funky and I can't get any taxi service because theyre 'busy'. And of course the game autosaves so by then my character is S.O.L.
Again, with the male character it doesn't have this glitch, maybe that's why nobody noticed?
Regarding the device I am using, it's a samsung galaxy s (t959) with firm. ver. 2.2.1
I played with the lowest settings to conserve battery, like no sound, lite encounter screens etc.

I have a samsung intercept and I can't reproduce,I have female and male characters.
Just curious but did you have a older version with the female story character? That might be an issue since she was taken out. Think her name was Cheyanne or something.

I thought of most the things a fellow player can,hopefully the pros can figure this one out for ya.
Don't know if its possible with android stuff but maybe your game is corrupted somehow?redownload game? Unless you have to pay again,never got rid of anything that I had to pay for and got it back later so I know nothing about that.
