So I thought I would test something on Impossible and found myself unable to buy Pardons with only -5 rep! Is this normal or a bug?

Either you're out of credits or it is a bug.

Credits, rumors, class, feature, conflict? I'd look at the existing rulesets before crying "bug!"

I have 83 credits, which likely isn't enough, but there's no indication that I can even get a pardon (like 'You need 1000 for a pardon'). There are no affecting rumors either. I wanted to check first. |

If you don't have enough credits, the game doesn't offer you the possibility. Just like when you don't have enough credits for edicts or ranks. The game just doesn't offer them.
And I wonder, are there really rumors affecting the availability of buying pardons? I thought that the only rumor that could do this is assassination rumor... Which blocks the palace entirely

Which blocks the palace entirely That's something I haven't noticed as Pardons tend to be (relatively) inexpensive. Still an odd design choice to have that entirely greyed out and no message to say that "You don't have enough credits for this". Just a thought. |

The cheapest pardon costs $120.
Then it goes $480
$1080
$1920
$3000
and so on.
So for rep -5 the pardon costs $3000 and that never changes (only Captain pays half the price).

I moved this thread to "Bugs" because the report that there is no explain for Pardon IS a bug. I also fixed the bug in the next update. Take that, Officer Geniousmuhahahahaha I cannot be stopped. |
