Hi everyone, It has been a very long time since I last visited this board...and did an unfinished comic (still feel bad about that). It was hard time for me last year as I tried to survive my shitty day job. Now, I have more free time and I am still always a big fan for Cyber knight, I still want to do a fan comic based on Cyber knight universe. But I realized that I don't have much time and for sure cannot complete the work. It requires a lot of time and dedication, which I don't think I have...haha. But one thing for sure, I do have time for some small artworks like game interface design. The only game I want to do fan art is Cyber knight. Here is the redesigned version of Cyber Knight RPG from my idea. I love pixel art and want to create the feeling of old style 80's RPG game. I did all the artworks except the background. I took it from Futuristic tile set for RPG maker. I did a few fan art redesign screens like fighting and inventory scenes. I will post more later. It's nice to be here again. Kris

kris - I loved the start to the comic, really amazing work and stuck in my memory. All of the fan art you've done for CK has been killer. Pretty awesome re-do of the CK interface, I like how you've overlayed some elements to get a better use of all the space. Can't wait to see what you post next! Any chance your day job is art? You do great work.

kris - really cool work, I love your pixel art style. What tools are you using to make those sprite gifs? You aren't drawing frame-by-frame are you?

kris - really cool work, I love your pixel art style. What tools are you using to make those sprite gifs? You aren't drawing frame-by-frame are you? Thank you, I use 2 applications for drawing pixel art, Pixly and #PixelArt. PixelArt is for drawing portrait or anything that require real-time artwork mirroring. Pixly is for animation. Both apps are in Android. I use Samsung Galaxy Tab A (9.7 inches with S pen) to do everything. For final compositing, I move to adobe photoshop in my PC. For animation, I draw frame by frame (Pixly will make it easy, trust me). If you want to do pixel art. I recommend both applications. They are really useful. The thing I like most about my setup is I can do everything from start to end digitally. No need for sketching and scanning anymore. It saves me so much time.

grävling Nice to see you too. Cory Trese Hi Cory, I did tried and failed many times. I can do art but not programming. I have to rely on programmers for everything. If they say no, it's a dead end for me. I used to be part of many game making teams but all of them are now closed. Gaming business in my country isn't something people can do for their living. And my gaming taste is different from majority. While most people in my country like cute Japanese style and fantasy theme, I like Sci-fi (especially cyberpunk) and my art style is a bit too western. So it is hard to find anyone who has the same taste. So I just make those artworks and hope that one day they will be put in good use.
