Is there going to be any further work on fleshing out the 'net/matrix?

Is there going to be any further work on fleshing out the 'net/matrix? Nothing is planned for CK1. Big plans for CK2.

ck fan - the best way to see that through to CK2 is to help support us on our other games, leave reviews, tell friends, join us on Patreon! Thanks for your support!

I think Drone Master has been the only thing that I've waited for with a lot of anticipation for the most. I mean... Hunds kinda came out quickly compared to Drones.

I just got the elite version from Gplay too. So I might get back into some CK action too. I used to have it on Amazon, but I'm pretty done with their app store now.
Started thinking about CK2 too and whether it shouldn't be set within the ST universe. Guild Runner: Slave of Shadows. Set in the galactic core under the thumb of the Guild and their Narvidian overlords. It seems that the Narvs have enough interest in bio-manipulation to transfer concepts for the NBZ to the Core.

I cannot remember the name of the science fiction short story I am thinking about, but it came out, I think near the year 2000. I have some vague memory about a collection about 'what will the world be like in another 1000 years' for the Millenmium, but that may be a different set of memories I am conflating. At any rate, in the far future, humanity has evolved into a group mind, but they revere their primative ancestors, and build mutiple, repeating simulations of their past on some sort of a gigantic disk. So we have a simulated Carl Sagan making discoveries in a cold war that is set on one of the simulations, and since he is about to discover that he is living in a simulation, Something Must Be Done ... I've always wanted a cyberpunk story where the punch line is that _it is all a simulation_. The evil aliens have built this distopia to stress test their ideas of how humanity would react under appalling conditions so they can better plan, first contact, an invasion, etc. Bonus marks if the aliens consider such things moral (because simulations aren't real people and animals so they cannot _really_ suffer, and it is only _simulated_ suffering) and one of the first things they discover through their simulations is that when they finally make contact with humanity, humanity is absolutely not going to go along with this idea that the suffering isn't real. From humanity's perspective, the aliens are sadistic immoral torturers. Abusive beings with godlike powers. First contact is never going to go well.
