With the various hints for the upcoming new Templar classes, I thought it would be fun to make some guesses ahead of time as to how they'll roll out.
1. Flame Engineer. Might be a hybrid between standard Engineer and Hydra. Might use Reactor extra, but combine with Plating extra instead of Scanner. Might use flame weapons; possibly including new flame weapons for Hydra and Flame Engineer. Might wear Hydra armor. Might introduce new talents, such as flame suppression, and be able to access some of Hydras current talents, such as Inferno Seal. Some newly introduced talents might be accessible to Hydra. Might not have Sentry Turret, Repair, Fortify Position; Power Shield. Probably won't cross into Scout talents at all.
2. Valkyrie. Might be a melee badass. Might combine Paladin and Berserks features. Might use Plating and Proc extras. Armor might lean toward Berserk choices. Might be dual weapon/hammer capable, if not exclusively dual weapon. Might even be able to use sword plus axe. Might cross into Paladin talents like Warding Fire. Might introduce new talents, on the order of buffs/attacks to help fight close quarters swarms. Probably won't heal or use grenades.
3. Templar Assassin. Might be a hybrid between Scout, Capt and Berserks. Might use Pilot Suit and Proc extras, possibly Backbone extras instead of Proc. Might have Berserk armor selections available in addition to Scout armor. Might use a sword! Might be dual weapon capable, on the order of sword and Capt pistols, probably won't be able to use Shields. Might be able to swap dual weapons for a single Scout rifle, but my guess is this class won't use the rifles. Possibly instead we see a new weapon or two, a short range one shot kill pistol and an assassins dagger type sword for the dual weapon set. Might have most of Scouts stealth talents. Might add talents, on the order of a melee defense buff that raises stealth as well and some sort of kill shot/ assassination attack. Small chance Assassin gets grenades.
