Hi,
Bug report.
I just finished orbital defense battery with 12 templars in play, and I had three new recruits (two paladins and one beserker).
version 2.4.19, ipad
When I went to respect the new recruits after the battle, I noticed the bug. Their talent allocations for their basic attacks for slay and strike were higher than I had unlocked in the talent tree. In some cases much higher. The berserker had his talent at 9 when I only had it unlocked to 4, and the paladin had his talent at 6 when I only had it unlocked to 4. This is how they were built during the battle as well when brought in as a raw recruit, I just didn't pick up on the discrepancy till afterwards.
Additionally, it lets me leave it with that talent allocation. I imagine it would go away if I click respec.
Also during the battle I noticed one of the Xeno brood mothers run away from me immediately after my first hit (must have been 15 to 20 squares) and wound up next to a different Templar, which I then used to kill it. Not sure if that was also a bug, but it would be pretty cool if the critters had different reactions that trigger immediately like that. Certainly surprised me.
Enjoying the game!

For the Talents, it is normal for new recruits to have them at a higher level than what you may have already unlocked. It is designed that way.
For the brood mother, we've all seen this and can't get it figured out. Happen to me the other day.

I like the recruits having talents that *your* Battleforce doesn't. I envision them straight out of basic training with what they learned there, or as part of a separate Battleforce who lent them to you for the time being.

That is the idea that we've used to explain the discrepency. We just couldn't come up with a better solution so far.
