I'm not sure if this is supposed to happen, but it seems really strange.
I'm in Cliffside Road, and upon encountering the camp where Bloodlace is, a conversation with her was interspersed with a conversation with a woman with orange hair (Ravenna, I think). The 2 conversations seems to be separate as well as the responses from the heroes. The conversation with Ravenna is about the seer lords and so on.
I don't recall this on my previous plays.

I took some screenshots, but sorry I don't know how to display them here. So some of the dialog from Ravenna includes: "You are proving to be as quick as you are strong, Death's Chosen" "With Caal dead on my blade, the Old Gods have started creeping back into our world" "Ryethin chose well, I see". This bug also appeard on the PC version. I made screenshots on the weird dialogue... i got also information about a counterdialogue from Ravenna with Rabiel and information, where she was going to...

ok, i see now, that i made a lot of screenshots of all these nice dialogues with RAvenna , Seer Lords, Myshanna and Rabiel for nothing, as you can only see the background instead of the dialogues....

as i was near to freeport, talking with bloodlace, all these dialogues with RAvenna appeard. And with "Ambra" -> at the end, when i was at freeport, RAbiels Dialogue with Ravenna appeared and the message that she arrived at the ember tower. When i was at the weavers treasure chests, the dialogue with Kris apprentices started... I can provide you with my game file, but i do not know, where it is located at my PC.
Furthermore at Erghanna a second chance to come to the otherworld heaven suddenly appeared via dialogue, but when i left the heaven (i was there via Kea) the party suddenly was at the city....

sandman68 - the save game file would be great. Usually at C:\users\<you>\AppData\Local\HeroesOfSteel.win32\* Seems like the two different reports (dialogs vs. OWH issue) are separate. I am lost on the second one, its jumbled and I don't understand the order of operations. Will focus on trying to figure out the dialog issues. Sure you are on 4.2.59?

Since you are on Steam, you might consider uninstalling / reinstalling the game through the Steam client. This does not remove saved games, but probably worth backing them up anyway. Sounds like you just didn't get the update, something went wrong. I've played through the entire Freeport / Girgan sequence on my Steam install and cannot reproduce. |
