When creating a new captain and using the ship builder for a custom ship, you are able to bypass the money limit. The "Submit Starting Ship Design" button is greyed out if it costs too much, but if you press the back key of your phone or just the ingame "back" button it still uses the invalid design. It is even possible to create completely invalid ships this way (not enough crew/sails and so on). If this is a known issue, just close this thread  |

leichenteil , telling them what version of ST you have might help. The bug is reproducible on Kindle Fire 3rd Gen (ST v5.9.43). My starting ship now has 7 hull and everything else turned to maximum, lol.

Reproduced it as well on my Huawei mediapad m2 8.0, Android 5.1.1, game version 6.1.15 elite. A bummer indeed, since you can't get something similar done in captain designer (you have to save the captain stats in order for them to count).

resistorI've got elite version (5.9.43) + ship and char designer. @cory Trese Don't worry to much. Personally I just stick to the rules since I consider using glitches cheating. Others might even be happy about that bug XD
