Reputation loss while spying

When I was spying, I would run down my reputation over the target  to 5 to -8
In this case -1
Then go to urban
Palace
buy pardon which set reputation to 0
to exchange to sell all the records collected which set the reputation back up, in this case to 27

back out to screen that will let me spy again
 1) text about our reputation still displays "-1"

if you select spy, and are successfull your reputation drops to below the reputation that was displayed, in this case to -3.
You lose all the reputation gained by the pardon and selling of the records

This is a minor problem, because as soon as you move to another planet, the reputation displayed is updated and correct.

There is two spy war
a) between Javat and Thulun
b) between Javat and Cadar

Would go to a Javat planet to spy so I get rep with the other two.
In this case over Gamma-Javat II

It is probably really important to share the exact procedure you are using to get this result. What are you clicking, when are you clicking back or the hardware button. Exact order of operations, all taps or clicks.

When I was spying,
a) go to target planet, Gamma-Javat II
b) select ship
c) select spy over and over again and run down my reputation over the target -1
d) select urban
e) select Palace
f) select pardon to buy a pardon which set reputation to 0
g) select back
h) select status
i) select faction and verify that rep is at 0
j) select back
k) select back
l) select exchange
m) select records and sell all the records collected which set the reputation back up, in this case to 3
n) select back
o) select status
p) select faction and verify that rep is at 3
q) select back
r) select back
s) select back

back out to screen that will let me spy again
Note: the text state my reputation is -1 not 3 as verified by step p

2) select faction and see the rep is at -3

richard - thanks for the detail bug report! We will check this out and see what we can do. I think if you look back at the length of the procedure you had to post, you can see how we would have tried this 100 different ways and never done it the same way you did!

I only saw his bug when I run the reputation negative, then got a pardon and sold the records to made it positive
Then after spying a turn or two, see that my reputation is negative
