Phone: Google Nexus 5x, Android 7.0 CK Version: v2.9.35 Elite Character/Difficulty: any I recently got a new phone and installed CK. Everything works great, except the markers in the map screen are off. Screenshots are at imgur.com/gallery/DK2Pv . I've placed the player at the data terminal in each screenshot, and set a waypoint at the next location in the map list for the Fenns, Roxbury, and Camden zones. Couple of observations: 1) the position errors are different across zones. 2) the reported positions are consistently above and to the left of the actual positions. 3) the errors are consistent when I exit and reenter the zones. Thanks for the great game!!

capitalj3 - thanks for the report. We had this bug reported with Age of Pirates as well a few days ago -- its related to the new DPI settings in the Nexus. We've added it to our list to fix!

Yep, its caused by new devices with higher than expected DPI. It's on the list to fix if/when we do another patch for these 6+ year old games.

Why is this still not fixed? This can't be that hard of a issue can it? (That came off pretty mean and I did not intend it to <3)

unfortunately it's just not worth it for them to fix it. "profit" wise. That's kinda the jist of it. Not enough players and profit to warrant fixing them.

It supports over 20,000 types of Android hardware. As new hardware comes out, Google releases higher and higher resolution settings which throws off some of the game's (old) code. If another patch for Cyber Knights is scheduled we will address this. However, we have no patches scheduled for the game at this time. I am happy to offer a refund.

unfortunately it's just not worth it for them to fix it. "profit" wise. That's kinda the jist of it. Not enough players and profit to warrant fixing them. This isn't actually the reason. Google is constantly changing Android's build and deployment requirements. They add 64 bit support, API-28, break Google Play Services API, re-wrote the IAB and replaced Apache HTTP since we last did a Cyber Knights update. My question is about why Google doesn't seem concerned about backwards compatibility. Perhaps profit, perhaps another reason. We've submitted several updates and fixes to Cyber Knights only to have them rejected. We have considered removing the game from Google Play as a result.
