Any hope that you will ever get a new release on Amazon? You guys are so prolific that it is getting extremely depressing being 28 releases behind. Any way we can help get Amazon to move?

We are committed to getting updates to Amazon as soon as possible given our limited resources.
We recently posted our first Amazon update in a while, and hope to get the rest of the games updated soon.

Amazon has rejected our request for a single update push.

Amazon has rejected our request for a single update push. I think you may need to consider to find an alternative to it(there are some stores with the same audience, but they are more dev friendly).

We're not really looking to expand into other Android markets, given our experience with using them. The question at this point isn't "Is Amazon a good fit for us?" but "How can we keep people who've already bought our games on Amazon happy?"

Well you can transfer them to another market if you find a suitable one, but that is additional work for you guys...

Nah, Amazon wouldn't let us transfer users to another market.

But that's not Amazon specific -- neither will Google nor Apple allow anything like that.

Time for a smart (gamer?) president... Write that into law! Thou shalt allow migration of a dependant business customer base if your policies have changed to make a dependant business unable to support them on your platform. Of course after congress it'd be a thousand pages of garbage made in a sick collusion of lawyers, lobbyists urban-bad-word-here types and hicks (for some reason), so nm I guess. :-p

That's called "business reality" I think Well that's why I want to see another large player up there, as google has gone in to too much monopoly Yeah but for game developers OUR size, leading the charge against Google is suicide. Insta-death, good-bye, good-night no more #gamedev for you! We learned this the hard way with Amazon. Amazon tried to take on Google and got absolutely, brutally, savagely stomped into the ground. Sadly, Trese Brothers thought they had a chance and we put a lot (a LOT!) of money into Amazon and we lost it all. If there was another market that challenges Google, I will stand back and wait 3 years to see if they survive. I certainly won't put any of my games on there until they weather the Google savage beat down for at LEAST three years, maybe more.
