Now I know any critical or sp drain or bonus damage on a weapon doesn't apply until you attack a monster with it.
But if a weapon has an elemental resist, for example the Storm Cleave which has +16 lightning resist, at what point does this resist actually benefit the hero?
The character stat display doesn't show it as expected, so when it's not the hero's turn, this isn't applied.
And when the hero attacks, the resist doesn't benefit him?

Honestly, I suspect it doesn't work at all but we have to wait for fallen to weigh in on how elemental resist on the non-shield weapons work. |

fallen had to patch the HP and SP found on other legendaries to get them to have effect. I suspect this is the same, weapons were not originally designed to have defensive stats besides parry. He did patch the other legendaries though so this one will probably be patched.

He did patch the other legendaries though so this one will probably be patched. You're probably right. Possibly it already has partial support like the other effects. These updates are really us pushing the very edge case limits of the HoS engine and sometimes the results aren't exactly perfect. We'll get there! |

Took a bug down on my list to fix this. +Elemental Resist does not work on non-shields, definitely not.
