Amazon update status for HoS

I thought that it might be useful to open this topic for all the players of HoS via Amazon stucked in 4.2.33 version

so that you can let us know about the possibility of an update and/or your progress in getting near it

I know it isn't easy and that you don't have enough time

Hello!

I am very sad about what Amazon did to their developers regarding this change. I wish they hadn't done it.

I accept that their is no chance they will go back or make any type of exceptions, but it is unfortunate.

We do remain hopefully that we will be able to support Amazon again, but cannot say for sure they will not just repeat the lock out.

I wish there was more we could do, or more Amazon could do, but at this point I think all parties are doing their max.

toweringdownybarbell - thank you for opening the thread. It will be a good place to keep status.

Currently, Heroes of Steel and Star Traders 4X Empires are both stuck at their revisions from 2016. An unannounced change to the Amazon API kit caused this and we haven't been able to finish the work to get the updates going again.

However, we have made some major progress recently in that area. Templar Battleforce has been updated and published to Amazon and updates are flowing again.

Once the Star Traders 2 alpha settles down, it is on our strategic list to get this fixed for Amazon.
