Thanks for sharing these. I imagine a lot of stuff is different between the exec producers stuff and the alpha, but will most of the broad systems be the same? I want to hop right in and play!
Also, the UI looks amazing. I know it's a WIP, but man is it sexy.

We demoed the pre-alpha version to the execs on Sunday, so there have been some fixes, but only mostly in regards to the exec feedback. I'd say 90% the same. The videos here are much more pointed tutorial content, while the 2 hour exec meeting we had was broad sweeping, game design, high level goodies. Shoot me any feedback you have on either

Honestly haven't gotten a chance to check out the exec recording, but have watched the tutorial videos you uploaded and can say that they seem pretty decent. Good job on them. Do you have plans for actually writing out a tutorial document, or just doing everything through videos?
If you and Cory need help writing/editing tutorial/help docs, I'm more than willing to help out. I can't guarantee a fast turn around, as I tend to spend 7+ hours a day editing patents, but I will work on it as much as I can and get whatever you need out quickly.

I would say that a rough guide should cover the most important stuff, as well as some of the stuff that is not readily apparent. My ideal items for a rough help file: -How to affect chances of getting favorable results during Patrol/Blockade/Explore/etc. -How different damage types affect the Ship and Crew in combat -What the various tests undergone during routine spaceflight are and what the consequences of failure are -What Ship component types there are (Cabins, Weapons, Bridge, etc.) and how they affect the Ship -Fuel consumption rates -A rough guide to how the mechanics of various things, like Crew and Ship Combat work. How different values affect different things. Example being, how does Armor affect incoming damage?

What I always want is a 'troubleshooting guide'. Problem: I keep running out of water fuel. Suggested Ways to Ameliorate This: only travel in your start sector, start a captain with better piloting skills, hire an officer with better piloting skills, something, something, something else Problem: I keep running out of cash. SWAT: Stop buying fuel at low rated spaceports. Stop making long distance trade routes and concentrate on things that are local. Get somebody with Doctor Skills on your team. Problem: The Cadar military keeps killing me. SWAT: Surrender to them instead of fighting until you are at least level XXX. Stop patrolling over their home planets. (Stop making Steel Song military officers. only kidding) Problem: The Xenos keep killing me Problem: I cannot find any Xenos to kill
