Crew screen interface.
Realize that all the jobs have a unique icon that is displayed at lower right corner of their listing on the crew manifest, however, especially for new players learning those icons can be a time consuming and difficult task.
Suggest listing profession where it currently says officer or crew and put an additional marker, say a a gold background for the job icon to denote officers.
Also would be nice if the player could rearrange the listings on the crew manifest.
It would make it easier to quickly make sure you have correct personnel either on station or on patrol and enable you to group them together where you could easily see you have say a possible excess of pilots but a shortage of crew dogs.

xdesperado - thanks for reposting. I have taken #ST2-3328 to get the primary job name listed on the crew list. Agreed, that will help new players. Officers are visually denoted by the golden ring around their faction flag. The interface is destined to have a robust set of filters and sorts, including by Patrol/Station, job type, officer / crew, etc.

We won't make you try to manage an ordering of crew, with how much it changes that wouldn't work.
We will be adding more tools and features to help you get the correct personnel and station/patrol mix. This will be in the form of filters, sorts, views and warnings.
Officers are denoted by a gold background around the flag, and the label "Officer" under the portrait.

The filtering will really help, even when upgrading. On mobile, was a bit tedious trying to scroll through lots of crew to find the upgrade eligible ones. (and had to take care not to accidently flip on patrol/station settings)

Or something like that, whatever you choose to do. |

As a suggestion for a filter, having a level filter would be nice. As in, this crew member needs to be leveled up, not level number. Agreed -- the guaranteed filters are: 1) Ready to Level / Not 2) Patrol / Station 3) Officers / Crew 4) Fighting Jobs / Ship Ops Jobs / Other Jobs 5) Not Okay Status (HP/MP) / Status Ok Those are definitely going in. |

Really loving the crew interface section and the opportunity for filtering. Was wondering if possible to tag crew and filter as favourites or on crew renaming add a star character to keyboard which adds at end of name; so when paying/healing/spicing can focus on relevant crew to keep if funds low?
