As a trading smuggler, I'd like the demand and supply looked at. I bought grains from a planet with A- demand, which had low cost, which was confusing. I sold it to a D- demand luxury population for a hefty profit, which also confused the hell out of me. I think the values are reversed from where they should be.

I think you read Demand twice when once the game text said Supply. You bought it from a planet likely with A- Supply ... which is good Supply (A+ being best). You sold it to a place with D- demand, which is okay ... not great. But, you bought cheap (A-) and sold ok (D-). You could have done better if you found a world with A+ demand for the grain. Does that help?

It is right where it needs to be, honestly. If you buy at A+ and sell at A+, you make max profit. If you buy at D- and sell at A+, you make OK profit. If you buy at A+ and sell at D-, you make OK profit. Consider your buy and sell scores two tests ... your profit is the average.
