I would like to suggest more info about how different damage types work.
Also, I would like to suggest either a tooltip or navigation aid that tells you how far in quadrant travel is going to be, as well a fuel cost.

Which different damage types? There are a lot of them, and I agree we need to add more detail about all of them! When you say in-quadrant travel, you mean when you have a multiple jump path set, and are trying to figure out how far the travel inside of each quadrant will be, before you get there?

Things like how Void and Radiation damages affect ships and crew. As for travel, I mean traveling from one world to another within the same Quadrant, or from a world to a Hyperwarp gate. Estimating fuel use is difficult, as there is no grid to tell us how many tiles we are moving.

Estimating fuel use is difficult, as there is no grid to tell us how many tiles we are moving. Another example is when accepting missions (how far away, quadrant jumps). My first game had a ship with limited range, and I was more worried about 'filling up' every chance I had...

It should be telling you how many Quadrant jumps. Are you not seeing that?
I'll make sure Void and Radiation get documented ... somewhere.
Void only hits everythings. Radiation hits crew/components, but not hull.

Both ignore Armor, but are blocked by Deflection.
