I can't remember the exact error message something about missing permissions :\
This has happened in several places once in combat and while at an exchange and somewhere else I think. It then tries to send me into the playstore app which displays another error as the app is not supported there yet.

I think I got confused with the startup thing not getting that message anywhere else now. It just says unfortunately star traders 2 has stopped I am not yet seeing any pattern as to when I am getting the crashes though.

Andrew and Cory are sleeping now, but can you post your device details? They always want them.
Or better yet, go to the tabs at the top of the forum and tap on "Profile" then the button "Edit Profile" and then select "Personal".
Then, under "Signature" stick in your device info. I stuck in:

and this shows up at the bottom of every post I make, so I don't have to type all this gubbish in again and again and again for every time Cory or fallen want to know my device details.

Device information is definitely helpful. What platform you're on (Android I am guessing because of the permission talk.)
Any other details about the crash (when it occurred, what you were doing in the game, what happened right after, were you able to reload the game.)
We get the crash reports but sorting them out without any details is hard.
