I'm using an Android tablet with updated os. I rolled up an explorer and was, naturally, exploring. I found some stuff and while on the results, I pressed the status icon, even though it was suppressed. I know, don't do things you're not supposed to. My bad. But, the result was that the screen went black. Pressing around on the screen yielded no response. I closed the app then reopened it. I looked to see if my treasure had been stashed and saw that it had been. I have been able to duplicate this.

What is a "suppressed" status icon? Do you have a screenshot?
I will definitely do my very best to help and try to figure out what is happening.
But I will need help here with details and thorough explanations of the words you are using.

By "suppressed" did you mean disabled / greyed out?

Thanks for reporting this. This is actually the tip of the ice berg on a big issue that I wouldn't have found on my own for a while. This report helped me catch it early.
