I put ship at A and no matter what ship I've select, my left over cash when start the game is only $19000.00 Even the most expensive ship is only $450.000.00 I should have $50.000.00 left right? Or does some go to crew or something.

There is no left over cash at all at this time. This is just your starting cash, period.

Yeah ship customization is not support in phase 1. Sorry!
