Talent Descriptions During Ship-to-Ship Combat

I looked and couldn't see a place that described the talents during ship-to-ship combat. I have selected talents and successfully used them, but don't know what they are. I'm using a 5 inch Android smartphone.

This is one of those things that us PCMR types get with mouse-hover. I believe that some form of long-press display interface is on the way.

I've given up on ship to ship combat until the HUD changes. Just bribe the stinkers.

Second this and raise for weapon types. The same weapon icon is used for all variants so that you cannot tell the difference between Hellfire and Mk Alpha torpedoes.  Could a battleforce style info button be used, so that you can step through the talents/weapons and see the information rather than having to long-press each in turn?

Alas, no. I suggested a fix for this here: startradersrpg.proboards.com/thread/14600/easy-navigate-away-planet-visiting

and something is going to happen, but not sure what and when.

I'm sorry you are avoiding combat as a result, that's dreadful news.

Not dreadful, just part of the Alpha Experience. Plenty of other things with which I can entertain myself.

Personally I'm spamming a few key abilities in leveling and I plan on learning them in combat. I'm on Basic anyway, so hopefully they won't eat me alive yet. I tried to fight them early on, but they crushed my other captain. I'm hoping that spamming the abilities and fighting them later on will teach me better this time.
