Ambushed during an exploration, game crashes repeatedly when the captain is selected to fight the scavengers. I know it's not a great idea to put them in there, but seems a harsh way of teaching  |

Unfortunately there was a bug in v1.0.17 that prevents crash reports from being correctly sent under iOS.
I'm still trying to debug this issue, since you gave such a clear description.

I can try and reproduce on PC? Looks like my 'spare' captain is going exploring lol.
assuming the crashes occur, will you still want a savegame as well as a crash report?

Sure. I'm literally doing the exact same thing, so if you don't want to do it, I'll figure out. Spamming explorer looking for Scavengers Didnt cause a crash on PC for me, at least this time. This is a 'star trader' captain, if it makes a difference. The iOS one that crashed was a bounty hunter |

Well, I did get a crash, but that was due to me clicking 'status' while in 'explore view'. I think this is a known bug though.

Star Trader says 'not implemented' same as smuggler when I select them on android. Cory said not to use the smuggler. I assume Star Trader is the same, though this may be useful debugging info.

Interesting. What talents does the BH Captain has?
I honestly do not know why those professions are marked as NOT IMPLEMENTED.
I assume Andrew thought they were incomplete and marked them as such.
I'll get to the bottom of it.

I'm pretty sure it was the bounty hunter captain, my only other iOS captain is an explorer and I dont think I've used him for a day or so.
