Is there another way to find more contacts other than boosting contacts at character creation? I got a Xeno fleet in my contact area and I KNOW my ship isn't prepared for that. But I also need the money...

Officer Genious - there a number of Jobs that offer Talents that can help in their area. Merchant is one of the best at it. Hopefully we can publish a list of Talents and all abilities shortly and that will clear it up. Patrol / Blockade / Spy / Explorer can also uncover contacts.

I gotta get me some contacts! Give one of your officers the Merchant job and the Friendly Banter talent, then start hiring crew every 30 turns and watch your contact list grow.  |
