I had a rather knock-down drag-out battle. And won. By a good margin actually. I stopped ASAP to repair, etc, etc, etc. Soon as I land. I had 4 crew ditch.. These were 3 level 4's, and 1 level 5.... Now, I know morale had gone down over the course of the fight... But with them being that high level (I know that's not hugely high, but they weren't exactly newbies) I was stunned to have that many jump at once before I could even get to a spice room. No intimidation/command/negotiation/etc test shows a failure to show why they jumped to readily. Perhaps a bit of a 'loyalty' variable so long-running crew don't ditch the moment something goes wrong?

Alex Fury - sorry they jumped ship. There are a number of variables at play, including their Faction vs. the Faction of the world (more likely to decide to leave on their own world-type), economy and population of the world you've landed on. We'll keep working to improve.

I think all (except maybe one. impossible to go back and check) were same as my base faction. Couldn't tell you the rest of them at the moment. I could try and see if I remembered to screenshot But you'd think that winning the fight, even if morale did drop from it... Would have kept them a bit happier.

Depends a lot on how close the fight was.
Crew abandonment and Crew death are part of the game, even on the lowest difficulty settings.
Your officers will remain loyal to you, no matter how bad things get they will not abandon you.
We've got a few bugs here like getting your custom weapons back when they die, etc.
