Doesn't happen all the time but have seen it enough to know I'm not just imagining this. Hired crews attributes are changing when editing the crew. Think it may be tied to assigning weapons/armor but not positive could be when changing a crew sex or uniforms haven't nailed down the exact trigger for when it occurs. What happens generally is that physical attribute numbers will change, typically with fortitude going down and the other two going either way. (I pay most attention to the Fortitude as I want crew more likely to survive the hazards of space.) Will try to get some screen shots for you, but like I said doesn't happen with every crew hired and I've not nailed down a specific trigger yet. www.dropbox.com/s/gc2yhfdi5ui1gov/20170208_174010.jpg?dl=0Attributes as freshly hired. www.dropbox.com/s/sx9nti9j20amqv2/20170208_174105.jpg?dl=0After equiping pistol

xdesperado - ok, any additional information you can share would be appreciated. Certainly things will cause the whole character model (Traits especially) to be refreshed. The ordering of this, or an incorrect refresh, could cause the display to become incorrect.

The ordering of this, or an incorrect refresh, could cause the display to become incorrect. Just posted a couple screen shots. Only change I made was to equip a pistol. Problem is knowing what the actual attributes should be, hate to hire a Crew dog based on say a 20 Fortitude score and other stuff only to see after editing clothes/weapons whatever that they now are showing a 14 fortitude (have had that happen btw) Also not sure if this bug just affects newly hired crew or also your starting crew as well.

Yeah, so you can't see his Traits, which are obviously (to me) what is causing the difference. His EQ is refreshing, but its pushing his Trait modifiers off the table in a bad way.
You opened status, changed pistol, nothing else?
This is display only, so it isn't harming his stats when they are used.

Problem is I've seen a crew change their attribute ratings 3 or 4 times as I modify the weapon selection, armor selection, face, uniform etc. Makes me wonder exactly what their stats really are. Do they have 24 wisdom or 21, is their fortitude 19, 14, 17 or 16 etc. The stats changed seem to have little to do with what adjustment is made adding armor can just as easily show a drop in fortitude as a raise in that attribute. Even if there are hidden talents causing modifiers it makes it hard to tell the base quality of a prospective crew member when the stats keep changing. Fact that it doesn't occur with all crew hired just makes it more frustrating. Is this crew going to be my next potential officer or should I show them the hatch now and not waste time with them.

xdesperado - ok, I found this to be very easy to reproduce with newly hired crew. It is caused by their Traits being dropped out of the equation on EQ changes. Changing visuals has no effect. If you would like to know the real stats, then return to the crew list and then open the crew member again. This isn't a new bug, and we will have it fixed for the next update. I am sorry that it is so frustrating. Another work around is to hit Next / Prev and return to the crew, and their stats will be corrected. EDIT: Fixed for next.
