It makes perfect sense from the physics perspective, so I am not complaining  . But that's brutal! |

Next release will include some additional changes, especially around Operation Fuel use Bonus Curves with the Pilot Officer.
Fenikso: The rules right now are that the Ship's Fuel Economy are the exact same as if the Ship did not have any Solar Sails, penalties or bonuses associated.
That means that the Ship would not gain any bonuses from having large number of Solar Sails nor would it have penalties from damaged Solar Sails.
One logical flaw that I found today is that it seems that "Ship Speed" Fuel Economy Penalties are still being applied during Operations, when those are in-game linked to Solar Sail deployment.
Therefore, in the next release there will be a few changes in this area: reduction in Ship Speed Penalties (making Slow/Agile ships MUCH better after the patch) and a set of new abilities for the Pilot Officer (making him MUCH more useful for MO and BH.)

Also, since it seems like something you will want, I will see if I can get the Operational Fuel use values to display in the Bridge Summary (since they are different than the generic ones from the deep space navigation report in Cargo.)

That would be just great for Impossible players. You know, we have to watch our fuel a lot... I suspect there is something behind you being so nice to me lately . "Nobody expects the Rychart Inquisition!" That's funny =) Glad you like it. The Inquisition Cruiser have reminded me of the sketch ;D. 40 years old and still fun... And it even correlates with "Rychart and big hats" cliché. |
